KEPServerEX Version 6.1 Now Available!

KEPServerEX Version 6.1 builds on the global connectivity, usability, and performance enhancements of KEPServerEX Version 6, while strengthening core functionalities for further device connectivity across the plant floor. 

• OPC UA Client driver updates and new Siemens Plus Suite: Gain full access to controllers with embedded OPC UA Servers, including Siemens S7-1500 controllers and next generation B&R devices. Updates to the OPC UA Client driver include support for OPC UA Nano profile servers and complex data types. Packaged with Kepware's Siemens solutions in the Siemens Plus Suite, these enhancements utilize Siemens-approved OPC UA for third-party communication to S7-1500 PLCs.
• Configuration API updates: Remotely configure the IoT Gateway for KEPServerEX. Updates also include support for access to Event Log messages without the KEPServerEX configuration client.
• Mitsubishi Ethernet driver and Omron NJ Ethernet for KEPServerEX updates: Modify read block sizes and group writes together within the Mitsubishi Ethernet driver, enabling faster read and write operations. The Mitsubishi driver now fully supports L and QnA Series devices, and  the Omron NJ Ethernet for KEPServerEX now includes faster read performance and support for NX Series devices.
• Enhanced ThingWorx® and KEPServerEX integration: Seamlessly map tags within KEPServerEX to properties on Things within ThingWorx. Updates include enhanced integration, enabling ThingWorx users to quickly and easily find and utilize the specific data they need in KEPServerEX.
• New CODESYS V2.3 Ethernet driver, providing controllers programmed with CODESYS V2.3 connectivity to MES, SCADA, and HMI systems—as well as other data collection and analysis tools
